My name is Gail. I live in the north of England, in South Shields, 10 miles from Newcastle. I am 72 years old and I am retired. I worked for 28 years in a bank; 4 years in the International Office, in Northumbria University; and finally I worked in our local college for 8 years as a secretary. I like reading, walking, travelling, spending time with friends, and going to the theatre. I have been learning Spanish for about 6 years and would like to have more practise with my writing and conversation.
Me llamo Gail. Vivo en el norte de Inglaterra, en South Shields, que está diez Millas de Newcastle. Tengo setenta y dos años y soy jubilada. Trabajé en un banco por veintiocho años; cuatro años en la oficina internacional en la Universidad de Northumbria; y finalmente trabajé en nuestra colegio local por ocho años, como secretaria.
